Professional Partnerships & Community Education

The A.B.C. works in partnership with veterinary practices, grooming salons, rescue organisations, charities and other animal-related businesses to promote evidence-based behaviour, training and animal welfare.

As part of our commitment to improving animal welfare and strengthening the relationship between owners and their animals, we offer educational talks and client information evenings tailored to the needs of your organisation and audience.

These relaxed, informative sessions provide practical, science-led guidance that owners can begin using at home to help their dogs and cats feel more confident and comfortable in everyday situations. Events may be hosted by your organisation for clients, adopters or members of the public and can also be adapted for staff education where appropriate.

Example Topics

  •   Preparing dogs and cats for stress-free veterinary visits

  •   Helping dogs and cats with grooming through positive training and cooperative care

  •   Reducing fear, anxiety and stress during handling

  •   Introducing puppies and kittens to everyday husbandry and life skills

  •   Supporting newly adopted rescue dogs and cats

  •   Understanding common behaviour concerns and when to seek professional advice

  •   Building trust through ethical, evidence-based training

  •   Understanding body language and recognising signs of stress

  •   Supporting owners through common behavioural challenges

Sessions can be tailored to meet the interests of your organisation and audience. Whether you are looking to support clients, educate adopters or offer an engaging community event, we would be delighted to discuss a programme that meets your needs.

Charities & Professional Partnerships

The A.B.C. is proud to work alongside rescue organisations, community volunteers and animal care professionals who share a commitment to improving animal welfare. These partnerships support adopters, carers and animals through evidence-based behaviour and training guidance, helping to promote positive and sustainable outcomes.

We value collaborative working and welcome opportunities to develop new partnerships with organisations that share our commitment to ethical practice, education and the welfare of companion animals.
